Is it sad that even after reading this rant on the wonders and miseries of grad school/post doc work, I still want to go to grad school?
Why do reasonably sane people continue to go into academia? (Also: how can econ profs, who willingly went through grad school, persist in thinking of people as rational?)
Also, I'm having trouble adapting to living in a room in which I can actually see the floor. This clean room idea is strange and foreign to me.
